Hainan Chicken and Rice
My Recipe Hainan Chicken and RiceThis meal is a famous meal in South of China. Now it is popular in Singapore.
Ice 1 bag (1-2kg)
Corn chicken 1 whole
slice ginger 4 pieces
spring onion 2 sticks cut to 4cms long
brown soy source
long Rice 4 cups
olive oil 50 g
mince of ginger 30-50 g
salt 2 g
sweet chilli source
Method
Warning: Before you do this meal you have to prepare enough ice. If you don't, you can't cook this meal!!!
boil water
fill slice ginger and spring onion into the chicken tummy
next put the chicken into the boiled water, be careful and keep the back up the tummy down and let the water cover the chicken
after the water boiled again reduce the heat immediately
cook for about 40 minutes
meanwhile prepare the ice water
take out the cooked chicken and put into the ice water quickly let the water cover the chicken
Now we strat to cook the rice
heat a fry pan
pour 50ml olive oil into the fry pan
add the mince of ginger when you smell the taste put the rice and some salt into the oil
fry about 2 minutes take out the fried rice into the rice cooker
add the chicken soap into the rice
cook rice
take out the chicken from the ice waterbrush the brown soy source all over the chicken
cut the chicken into equal blocks
put into the plate if you like you can strew with the sweet chilli juice.
when the rice mature you can enjoy your great meal.
